Marketing, the Heart of Any Business

The main back bone of the business is marketing. Marketing is the heart of the business. For a small and medium business marketing is everything. Your marketing has to be done in a right way. If it is not done in a right way you are wasting loads of money and also you won’t be earning the money which you expected. And not only you wasting your money but also you are wasting your precious time. Time is the most important and precious thing.

Time plays a vital role in marketing. Time is the most critical thing in marketing. A complete and utter genius Dan Kennedy who is one of the world’s greatest marketers says that the three important element of marketing is “3 M” which are the media, the message, and the market.

In other words you must have the precise medium, the precise letter, the brochure, the precise delivery device to reach out to the people. You must have the precise message within the medium. The message that you are going to deliver must have to be pertinent and right to that person. And of course, the message must have some kind of tempting offer which must attract that type of client. To reach out to the right client you have to go to the precise marketplaces.

Think for a moment- where is the marketplace? Which person wants your service? And what type of person is he? Which place do they shop? To which pace they go to? What are the elements they actually look and read at? And how would they secretly grasp something?

So we have to try to find out the right message. We have to offer, what's the most tempting offer we can give to that person? And of course, how are they going to read it? There is no point in thinking of that we are going to put it in Yellow pages, because, obviously, mums are not going to be picking up the Yellow pages. And also there is not point in posting it in on billboards. Will they go and read these billboards? Most of them don’t even look at billboards. It's something that's got to be appropriate, and it's got to be under their nose, and it's got to be there at the exact time

So, according to me, the 3 elements, as Dan Kennedy says, is you must have to get the right media, precise message for the precise marketplace and those are the major important elements you can really think of. And obviously, you then got to reach it out at the right time.
